An explorer was in the forest, watching an old farmer sitting on a stump smoking a pipe. He came up to him and said, "Hello, what are you doing here?"
The farmer replied, "Once I was about to cut down trees, but just then a storm blew up and many giant trees fell, which saved me a lot of strength."
"You are so lucky!"
"You´re right. On another occasion, in a storm, lightning lit the hay that I was about to burn."
"What a miracle! What are you going to do now?"
"I am waiting for an earthquake to turn potatoes out of the ground."
