Individual Chinese investors earned an average of RMB14,000 per capita in the A-share stock market from January to April, with Shanghai residents making an impressive RMB156,400, according to TongHuaShun, an Internet financial data provider. Beijingers came second making RMB80,200 on average. Residents in Zhejiang, Guangdong and Jiangsu followed making RMB36,900, RMB29,000 and RMB18,400 respectively.
