【开学季 海外的爸爸们做什么】

开学了，开学了！
小朋友们又重新进入校园了，也有一部分小盆友第一次离开家，来到了需要他们慢慢去适应的幼儿园。中国家长们这个时候一般都会组件QQ群、微信群，让老师时刻拍照来了解小盆友的表现吧。海外的爸爸在做什么呢？
下面这位爸爸把他的父爱融入了给宝宝准备的餐盒中，希望让孩子呆在幼儿园的时候也能感受到爸爸对他的爱和关切。
虽然说做得比较粗犷，但是真的蛮可爱的啊：）

Three years ago, I started making these fun characters out of food （用食物来制作有趣的造型） for my daughter’s school lunches. Anonymous internet parents started telling me “You have too much time on your hands” （做这个花了很多时间吧） and “Get a real job.” In fact, I have a full-time job, am married, and have three kids. What sometimes gets lost in the story is the reason behind these lunches.

A few months before my daughter started Kindergarten, I was looking for a special way to let her know that I was thinking about her while she was in school. My father had recently passed away （去世） from cancer and he had made a huge impact on my life. I wanted to use these lunches as one way to make an impact on my own kid’s lives.

I soon started a blog, LunchboxDad.com, to keep a record of the lunches. One goal of my blog was to give my kids and I something to look back on （留下珍贵的回忆）. Another goal was to help encourage parents to find creative ways to show their own kids that they love them. I hope I have done, and continue to do, just that.
