BBC新闻——关于北京禁烟
前段时间北京公众场所禁烟的新闻，BBC也有报道。楼楼从中摘了几个句子，都是比较地道的表达，就算我们不谈抽烟，在很多其他场合下也能用得到吧，特整理出来与各位圈友分享{:8_219:}
The rules were vague, however, and often flouted (被无视) by Chinese smokers who are accustomed to lighting up at will (白话就是“想抽就抽”的意思).
Under the legislation lawbreakers in Beijing will be fined 200 yuan and businesses that turn a blind eye （置之不理，白话就是“装看不见”，嘻嘻）could be fined up to 10,000 yuan.
Repeat offenders（屡教不改者，注意前面是repeat，不是repeated） will be named and shamed on a government website, according to the Reuters news agency.
