Hello, thank you for your response.
I am currently located in Bangladesh, which is an overseas market outside China. Mobile operators in Bangladesh currently support 5G NSA, so my testing is focused on 5G NSA registration rather than 5G SA.
I am an experienced Field Test Engineer with practical experience in mobile device field testing. Before contacting HONOR, I have already completed the first-stage basic troubleshooting, including:
1. Confirmed that the device is a 5G model and that 5G is enabled.
2. Confirmed that there is 5G coverage at my current location.
3. Using the same Grameenphone SIM card at the same location, another 5G smartphone successfully registers on 5G NSA.
4. I tested Grameenphone, Robi, and Banglalink, and none of these operators can register 5G on the HONOR 500 Pro.
5. VoLTE is working normally.
6. I used NetMonster and CellMapper for network testing. The device consistently shows only LTE and does not register on NR.
7. The phone is the MEP-AN00 China version with original factory firmware. It has never been rooted, unlocked, or flashed, and it is currently running the latest MagicOS 10.0.0.170.
Therefore, the first-stage checks for the SIM card, package, 5G coverage, VoLTE, and basic network settings have already been completed. I believe the next step should be to investigate the overseas carrier configuration, 5G NSA compatibility, and Modem/Carrier Policy configuration of the China-version firmware.
Could the HONOR engineering team please confirm whether the MEP-AN00 China version supports 5G NSA for Bangladeshi operators such as Grameenphone, Robi? If these services are currently not supported, will HONOR add the required overseas carrier configurations through a future software update?
I can provide NetMonster/CellMapper logs, field-test screenshots, and other test data if required to assist the engineering team in investigating the issue.
Thank you.
